Growing up in a Native American household, I never wore makeup and loved the way my skin looked natural and untouched. The answer to every one of my skin issues was that little aloe plant or some other plant my mom had growing in the garden. Whenever I had a problem with my skin, I would watch her run around the yard to find the perfect plant to fix it …and it would work every time!

As I got older I began to wear makeup and boy did it take a toll on my skin. I found myself in my late twenties breaking out and then using more makeup to cover it up. Which as you know, only makes the problem worse! I didn’t have the garden that my mom had, so I went to department stores trying to find a solution to end this vicious cycle. Not only did it consume my time, money, and drawer space, but it also destroyed my confidence. I looked in the mirror and I was heartbroken, I didn’t recognize the self conscious person looking back at me… has this ever happened to you? OMG, it was painful!
After years of traveling and noting the local remedies of every place that I visited; I concocted a solution of my own and finally got my skin under control. That is, until my husband and I were pregnant with twins! Along with the most amazing gift of these 2 miracles, I also received several undesirable gifts. The pregnancy left my skin discolored, blotchy, dry and dull and not to mention the havoc it wreaked on my thighs…cellulite! As most of you know it’s hard to find time to take care of your house when you have kids, much less have time to take care of yourself… especially with twins.
